Beaches of La Manga

At the foot of the Hotel Servigroup Galúa and on the shores of the Mediterranean, it has 2 kilometres of fine, golden sand.

This is a fully equipped beach of such high quality that in 2012 it was awarded the Q Mark for Tourist Quality. It offers services such as access for the disabled, foot showers, a lifeguard post in the summer months, toilets, etc.

It has over 100 parking spaces nearby and the closest marina is the “Cabo de Palos”.

This 150-metre long urban cove is located close to the “Club Náutico Dos Mares” marina. Awarded a blue flag and a Q Mark for Tourist Quality in 2008, this is a cove with gentle, warm waters and fine, golden sand.

Very close to this there is a pine grove that provides various shady areas where visitors can rest and relax. Its services include showers, access for the disabled and a lifeguard post in the summer months.

In the waters of the Mar Menor lagoon we can find the Isla del Ciervo. This island, isolated from the city, is full of natural beauty where bathers can relax surrounded by natural scenery.

Access to the island is limited because it can only be visited by boat or by crossing on foot when the tide is out.

It is divided into two areas; in the south, summer visitors can use the mud to cover their bodies, as it has healing properties, and at the other end there is a 100-metre long sandy beach, where visitors can swim in crystal clear, warm waters. As it is isolated, this area does not offer any services.

With its fine, golden sand, this beach, which is over a kilometre long, was one of the beaches awarded the Q Mark for Tourist Quality in 2012.

It is fully equipped and its services include boat rentals, access for the disabled and showers. In the summer months the lifeguard post provides an amphibious beach chair for those with reduced mobility.

This is an easily accessible urban beach and there are over 100 parking spaces in the vicinity.
