The closest airport to the coast of Orihuela is the Region of Murcia International Airport (Corvera), which is approximately 55 km away. With more air traffic, the airport of Alicante is 70 km away, which can be another good option to travel to your destination.

There are two options for travelling to Orihuela Costa:

• Taxi: Located on the 0 floor of the airport.
• Car rental without driver: Various rental companies provide their services on the 0 floor of the airport in both airports.

The Torrevieja bus station is the closest to Orihuela Costa, located about 12 kilometres away.

From there there are routes to and from various towns available. Some of the companies that offer their services for this area are:

• ALSA: It has regional routes that cover the eastern area, as well as other direct national routes to Torrevieja.
• Grupo Costa Azul: With regular services between Alicante and Cartagena along the coast.

Once in Torrevieja station, there is a bus line available (Torrevieja - Pilar de la Horadada) which, although it only has two departures a day, serves as a link to Orihuela Costa.

The alternative to this line is the use of taxis which have a stop near the bus station.

If you are coming on the AP-7 motorway, you should take exit 763 (La Zenia / Urbanizaciones). If you are travelling without a toll, take the N-332 road towards Playa Flamenca to reach your destination.

The nearest RENFE (Spanish National Railway Network) station is located 35 km away, in the urban centre of Orihuela. Numerous journeys arrive there every day from different parts of the peninsula. Among them is the high speed line (AVE) that runs from Madrid to Orihuela in 2 hours and 22 minutes.

The journey from this station to Orihuela Costa is very comfortable as this station unifies both the train and bus stops (Estación Intermodal) and has a taxi stand nearby.
