A representation of Servigroup Hotels headed by its commercial director Carlos Bárcenas, travelled to London recently to take part in the 2019 World Travel Market. Our hotel chain attended occupying a desk within the Turespaña stand.
At the stand, several meetings were held with the hotel chain’s main distributors in the UK in order to establish strategies aimed at the British market for the 2020 summer season and 2020-2021 winter season.
Servigroup Hotels held a meeting with the Travel Republic UK’s product team, reaffirming itself as a great distributor of the Servigroup product on its web page and distribution network. Similarly, meetings were also held with the CEO of Jet2holidays, Steve Heapy, strengthening collaboration for summer 2020, as well as with David Watt, contract manager for the Scottish tour operator David Urquhart or with the Expedia.com Costa Blanca marketing manager Jaime Sánchez.
Through the work that has been carried out at the fair, the sales forecasts for the destination will be developed and with it, the commercial actions that will increase our visibility and demand in the British market, consolidating our product.
The World Travel Market is held annually in London and is considered to be an unmissable event for the tourism sector as it is an international business meeting for industry professionals. This year it has taken place from November 4th until November 6th.
The WTM is a unique opportunity for industry professionals to meet and exchange experiences, as well as learning about current issues in the field of tourism. Also, the fair introduces products or services and public relations are made to help raise the influx of visitors and spending in the respective tourist destinations. For all these reasons, Servigroup Hotels has once again not missed this great event with which it will continue to strengthen and retain the British market.
