Each edition is an annual tour of the five continents with spectacular natural settings that test the skills of the most experienced swimmers and give millions of fans the opportunity to have first-hand contact with elite swimming. The Oceanman Costa Azahar 2024 will arrive in Spain on May 11th and 12th with different tests for all levels, grouped into four categories. As explained below.

Oropesa del Mar and Benicasim are the regions where the competition will take place. The most demanding and longest event will unite both municipalities and will inaugurate the sports calendar, starting from Morro de Gos Beach in Oropesa del Mar, next to the Hotel Servigroup Koral Beach, to swim parallel to the Vía Verde del Mar and reach the beaches of the town of Benicasim.
Without a doubt, it is a spectacular route, in a natural environment of great ecological value, further enjoyed by the fantastic crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean, with expected temperatures of 19ºC. All this will make this race a unique experience.
Next, we show you the most significant details of each of the four categories, so that you can choose how to participate, depending on the type of swimmer you are. Of course, you should know that the use of a swimming buoy is mandatory while wearing a neoprene suit which is optional. Will you sign up!

The most important test of the competition. This covers the entire Vía Verde del Mar between Oropesa, starting from its southern end, and Benicasim, where it will reach Playa Torreón. The organization establishes a maximum of 4 and a half hours to complete the route with a maximum number of 150 participants.

Perhaps this is the most popular test in the competition. Belonging the municipality of Benicasim, the race covers the distance between Playa Playetas and Playa Torreón, making a small detour northward as soon as it leaves. The organization limits the time to complete the route to 2 hours and 30 minutes and establishes a maximum number of participants of 250.

The ideal test for speed lovers looking for an adrenaline rush! In front of the Benicasim promenade, the Sprint starts from Voramar Beach until it reaches the common finish line for all the categories of the competition located on Torreón Beach. The maximum time to carry out the Sprint is 1 hour and 30 minutes and registrations are accepted for up to 350 swimmers.
An ideal opportunity to enjoy a first contact with open water swimming. With no time limit and in the surroundings of Playa Torreón de Benicasim, a maximum of 50 swimmers will be able to enjoy this playful event for the whole family.
The Hotels Servigroup Koral Beach in Oropesa del Mar and the Servigroup Trinimar in Benicasim will be the official hotels of the Oceanman Costa Azahar 2024 during the weekend of May 11th and 12th.
