Mediterranean Epic Triathlon 2025. The Triathlon Party!

This is a nationally ranked event that hosts both the Spanish Long Distance Triathlon Championship and the Spanish Long Distance Aquabike Championship. The competition gathers around 6,000 athletes in Oropesa del Mar who take part in the different race formats offered by the organisers.
The event includes four distances and six different race options. However, once all the races are over, these days of sport also promise many more experiences. Athletes and their companions can enjoy the best post-race atmosphere with live music, food, and drinks – a well-earned reward after all that effort.
When will the Mediterranean Epic Triathlon take place?

Where will it take place?
Oropesa del Mar is the chosen location for this competition, with the Hotel Servigroup Koral Beach as the event hub. The natural setting for the race is truly unparalleled. Imagine swimming alongside the Vía Verde del Mar, one of the most breathtaking natural landscapes in the region – that’s exactly what participants will do as sport and nature blend seamlessly.
This is a spectacular course set in a natural environment of high ecological value, bathed by the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean, expected to be around 19ºC. It’s sure to be a unique experience.
What race formats are available?
The Epic Run Triathlon includes four formats and six race events. Key formats include: Full, Half, Olympic, and Sprint.

All formats start with the swim in the clear waters of the Costa Azahar. The Half and Full formats share the same route, while the Olympic and Sprint races follow a shorter course.
Next, participants take on the cycling section. Again, the Full and Half formats head inland through Cabanes, whereas the Olympic and Sprint formats cover a more limited area.
The event finishes with a run along the Morro de Gos beach, in front of the Koral Beach Hotel – each format with its respective distance. What a thrilling way to discover Oropesa del Mar!
