During the week that culminates today, Servigroup Hotels held the 16th edition of its Gastronomy and Excellence Days in Benidorm. An event that year after year brings together the staff of the group's 18 hotels to promote growth and continuous improvement of the service that Servigroup professionals provide to customers in each of our establishments.
The Servigroup Pueblo Benidorm Hotel chosen for the event, which during its four days has brought together more than 200 professionals from the tourism sector who hold positions of responsibility in the departments of management, kitchen, dining room, bar, technical services and laundry.
Undoubtedly, the event was marked by the importance that gastronomy has for Servigroup Hotels, one of the pillars that support the holiday experience of the client who visits any of our hotels. A fact that was made visible with its own stand of the El Clot vegetable farm, the agricultural exploitation that Servigroup Hotels owns in Villajoyosa, next to the sea and very close to Benidorm, where following the principles of traditional agriculture, a good number of fruits, vegetables are grown and even a line of olive oil is bottled that can be tasted in the buffets of Servigroup Hotels.
A luxury that might seem reserved for small boutique hotels with their own orchard, but which at Hoteles Servigroup is made possible thanks to a careful organizational mechanism capable of putting on the customer's table at the end of the day what that same morning has left the farm. This ensures the quality of the raw materials that, together with the best local suppliers and the mastery of the chefs, translate into an excellent result on the plate.
The first day brought together the head chefs of the 18 Servigroup hotels, along with their teams, to analyze the past season and learn about the new features that will help us continue improving for this year 2025. And from theory we moved on to practice, with a spectacular tasting buffet where we were able to try the new proposals with which we will surprise customers in the coming months. Our chefs are constantly reinventing themselves!
But we must not forget that, in order to offer the best gastronomic experience, the entire hotel team has to work in a synchronized way and following a common goal. For this reason, these training and team building days are so important, which make us stronger to continue betting on the excellence that so identifies Servigroup Hotels.
For this reason, in the following days there was space for the annual meeting of housekeepers of all the hotels, in whom the responsibility is deposited that everything is in perfect condition and always ready using effective products and processes that are sustainable and respectful with the environment. And it is that the cleanliness of our facilities is one of the most valued aspects by our customers. An essential requirement for us when understanding how the service we offer to those who visit us should be.
It was also the turn of our bar managers and maîtres, with a training day in which we had the opportunity to exchange impressions to raise the professionalism of our service to the highest level while tasting the new proposals that will be served in our bars and cafes such as specialty coffee, natural smoothies or artisan ice cream.
Finally, as a culmination of these days of work, this Friday the annual meeting of maintenance managers has been held, with different training related to all the regulations of facilities driven in each autonomous community in which we are present and a myriad of recommendations so that what is seen and what is not of the hotel is always in an optimal state.
