HOTELES SERVIGROUP, after unanimously agreeing, at the emergency meeting held by the management, Servigroup announces the temporary closure of all its establishments due to the declaration of the state of alarm decreed by the Government of Spain, a measure that will continue for the duration of this situation.
The president of HOTELES SERVIGROUP, Mr. José María Caballé, explained that “the situation we are facing is extremely serious and for this reason we are forced, by responsibility and in solidarity with this exceptional crisis, to ensure the health of our clients and that of all our workers and collaborators of our hotel chain ”.
HOTELES SERVIGROUP will gradually proceed to the temporary closure of all its establishments, remaining open until clients can return to their places of residence and, where appropriate, to the respective countries of origin, taking the appropriate measures to make it feasible, with due care and with special attention to the obligations that are necessary.
In this case, any reservations that were due to be taken during the state of alarm period may be cancelled, at no cost to customers, without prejudice to any other option that they consider more appropriate for their interests.
These decisions, are in line with the actions recommended by the Spanish Confederation of Hotels and Tourist Accommodations (CEHAT), to which HOTELES SERVIGROUP belongs.
Faced, with the forced repercussions that this decision to temporarily close the hotels, will have on employment the Managementof HOTELES SERVIGROUP will work, in permanent dialogue with the workers' representatives, to minimize the impact on our staff, due to the enforced measures as they proceed, during this very hard time.
The management greatly appreciates the dialogue, commitment and understanding shown by all the staff of the chain, hoping that, once this state of alarm ends, everything will return to normal, and we are able to offer the quality service that characterizes us to our customers.
