Jet2Holidays awards Servigroup Hotels catering quality
Once again, the efforts and qualities that characterise Servigroup Hotels have been recognised. On this occasion, by the British Tour Operator Jet2holidays.
After receiving the highest awards from Tripadvisor and Booking.com, Jet2Holidays (belonging to the company Jet2) has awarded the catering quality of the leading hotel chain in the Valencian Community, Servigroup Hotels.
It was last Thursday, September 20th, when the Hotel Servigroup Venus in Benidorm received this outstanding award for its excellent catering quality in the 3*Hotel category.
The following day, the Hotel Servigroup Nereo received the same award in the 4* Hotel category.
These awards reflect a special recognition for the everyday efforts of the catering staff from both hotels, in particular the head waiters Agustin Sánchez Girela (Hotel Venus) and Bartolomé García García (Hotel Nereo) and of course the chefs, Francisco Carmona Pozo and Félix Lorente Mercado (Head Chef and Sous Chef from the Hotel Servigroup Venus) and Francisco Pérez Férez (Hotel Nereo).
To elect the award winning hotels, Jet2Holidays based the outcome on the excellent results attained via their customer surveys.
In each case, Jet2Holidays took into consideration the product quality as well as other relevant factors such as the quality of the restaurant service, the decor (an aspect that Servigroup always takes maximum care with) and the personal attention extended to guests.
Servigroup Hotels has always given maximum care to food management, with its main objective being customer satisfaction at all times, paying special attention the the presentation of its buffets.
To do this, the 17 hotels belonging to the chain have at their disposal their very own purchasing department, led by Alfredo Garfellá Montero, who is responsible for evaluating, planning, purchasing and distributing top quality products to the hotels.
However, another function of Servigroup Hotels purchasing department is training. For this task, the hotel group’s chef-coordinator Gregorio Sebastián, provides the best training for kitchen staff in the 17 establishments.
Also worthy of a mention is the horticultural farm El Clot. An area of ecological cultivation situated in Villjoyosa, supplying the highest quality crops to the company’s hotels. Fruits and vegetables (as well as the flowers that adorn the hotels) come from the horticultural farm El Clot.
Jet2Holidays is in full expansion phase of its staff at Alicante Airport, as well as its Resort Flight Check-in, with qualified professionals who operate in all of the hotels that work with the British tour operator.
With these awards, the hotel chain presided by businessman José María Caballé extends its long list of accolades, the results of continuous, excellently coordinated and well managed endeavours.
