Hotel Servigroup Montiboli hosted the closing ceremony of the University of Alicante Master’s Degree in Restaurant Management

The Montíboli Hotel hosted on June 17th the closing ceremony of the Master’s Degree in restaurant management and hotel food and beverage, arranged by the University of Alicante. The act consisted of a master class or end of course teaching session held by Kiko Moya and Alberto Redrado, chef and wine waiter of the L’Escaleta Restuarant in Cocentaina, which holds a Michelin star and three Repsol Suns.

In the master’s degree, seven managers of Servigroup Hotels were enrolled, among those, the manager of the Hotel Montiboli as well as the groups purchasing and food and beverage manager and several hotel managers from the chain, La Zenia, Castilla, Calypso, Torredorada and Galúa.

Course students

The hotel’s chef, Jean Marc Sanz prepared an exquisite special menu for the day which was served in the Panorama Lounge, followed in the afternoon by a theory class in the imperial Salon.

The course began in October and ended after the closing ceremony in June 2014. It is aimed at professional executives in the hotel industry and those who manage restaurant businesses’. The teaching panel consists of university professors and professional experts from the restaurant industry.
