A comprehensive reform to inaugurate the Koral Beach Hotel
The renovation has affected its ten floors and all of its rooms, which have been completely redecorated, including new bathrooms. On the terraces, the existing wooden railing has been replaced by bluish glazed windows in order to enjoy the sea views and add a modern touch to the facade of the building. As for the rest of the facilities, it has also upgraded salons, restaurants, bars, and even the solarium area and the swimming pool.
In the new restaurant you will be able to continue enjoying the exquisite high-quality cuisine that characterizes Servigroup, with its great variety and high standards, its buffet which also includes a live show cooking area with the freshest Mediterranean products. Oropesa, a great holiday destination
If you are looking for beautiful beaches with fine sand to relax and sunbathe or practice water sports, in Oropesa you will find the ideal place to lose yourself, at either its beaches, or its small charming coves.
These are the ones offered by the Oropesa municipality: Morro del Gos beach (blue flag, 2,000m length), La Concha beach (blue flag, 700m), Les Amplaries beach (2,400m), Renegà beach (1,270m) and Platjetes de Bellver (blue flag, 350m). If you are looking for charming coves, you can also visit the Cala de Oropesa La Vella (120m) and Cala del Retor (70m).
Around the town of Oropesa, the two beaches that frame the city are the Morro de Gos beach (where the Servigroup Koral Beach is located), and in the south the Playa de la Concha beach, closest to the marina. The composition of both beaches is beautiful fine sand.
In the northernmost part of the area is the Playa de les Amplaries (beach), 2,400m long, with fine sand. It is the most urbanized and serves most of the campsites in the area, as well as the well-known seaside resort Marina D'Or. And in its southernmost zone are the cozy and quiet beaches La Renegà and Bellver; the first consists of several coves of sand, rocks and vegetation, and the second is in a quiet residential area, has a blue flag and is protected by breakwaters.
Lovers of scuba diving and snorkeling will find in these areas the ideal environment to enjoy the rich seabed of Oropesa, where the oceanic Posidonia grows, an endemic species of the Mediterranean that generates underwater meadows of great ecological value, which are of a high purity, guaranteeing the regenerating of oxygen.
Other interesting tourist areas in Oropesa del Mar
Oropesa del Mar offers an infinite number of points of interest, which are a must to visit, among which we suggest you not miss the beauty of its old town, the marina, the lighthouse, the Oropesa Castle, the La Corda Towers and La Colomera, the Via verde of the sea, the Torre del Rey, and finally Oropesa la Vella.
Just along from the Hotel Servigroup Koral Beach, is the start of a very interesting route that runs along the pedestrian promenade between Playa Morro de Gos towards the Lighthouse, which allows you to enjoy excellent views over the cliff.
Another nice route along the cliffs is to the north, on the Via Verde (Greenway) that connects Oropesa with Benicassim. It is an old railway route with a distance of 5.7 km along the Mediterranean, with pine trees, tunnels, towers and hidden coves.
Islas Columbretes (Columbretes Islands)
And finally, further south to the border town of Alcocebre is one of the most important nature areas of the Valencian Community, which is well worth a trip: The Columbretes Islands.
It is an archipelago of volcanic origin, that is worth visiting for its great scenic beauty, as well as for its rich marine life of great biological diversity, ideal for snorkelling.
It is a nature reserve composed of four volcanic islands (Columbrete Grande, La Perrera, La Horadada and El Bergantín) that occupy an area of 19 hectares, with numerous rocks and shallow crags and volcanic craters. It is located 28 miles from the Alcocebre Marina, where Servigroup has the Hotel Servigroup Romana.
