| Brief description | Poniente Course This course, whose features are typical of Nicklaus designs, is an American style course with broad fairways and exquisitely molded greens. Players on the course enjoy marvelous views of the Mediterranean and the Finestrat mountain range. Because the course is not part of any real estate development or urban area, it allows players to enjoy their game in completely natural surroundings with uninterrupted views of sea and mountain in the spectacular setting provided by Spain’s Levante region—the southeastern Mediterranean shore with its coastal range. Levante Course The club ’s second round, an 18-hole par 62 course, is integrated into the downslope of a lovely valley populated by Mediterranean pines with views of the sea and the mountains. The design of this course enables all sorts of players to enjoy a great golfing experience regardless of their handicap. While this round takes less time to play than the North Course, it is by no means less exciting. It requires greater mastery of short irons and places heavy demands on the low handicap player, although all its holes offer alternatives to players with medium and high handicaps. |
