The Hotel Montiboli inaugurates a photographic exhibition portraying Sunrises throughout Alicante’s province.

The Hotel Servigroup Montiboli inaugurated a photographic exhibition   “Momentos de un amanecer” by Carlos Serrano, a photographic display reflecting a varied selection of Sunrises throughout Alicante province. The exhibition which remains open to the public until the 30th of June, composes of 35 photographs with minimalistic scenes, trying to bring simplicity and a sense of intimacy to visitors of the exhibition. The images on show have been taken between the towns of El Campello to Torrevieja. 

Within this exhibition Carlos Serrrano combines natural and artificial elements and via his photographic work hopes to evoke moments of peace and tranquility to its visitors.

The Hotel Montiboli, with its continued commitment to art, has been promoting the world of art as “Montíboli Cultural”, created in 2008 to enrich the culture in our society and also mark the Hotels 40th anniversary.

Carlos Serrano who lives in Alicante and originates from an area of Spain known as La Mancha is well known nationally for his night photography. Mr. Serrano has shown his work in various exhibitions and has received several prizes. One of his favorite subjects is long exposure photography in all forms, a technique developed and shown in a number of exhibitions and didactical projects.

At the present time he combines his artistic work with teaching, and also organizes night photography courses throughout Spain, he is amongst other things an author of various publications and has exhibited his art work in various art galleries.
